Our main goal is to provide you with exceptional service for your real estate or property management needs so its especially important for you to know how we became involved in the industry!

In 2002, my parents ventured into the world of property investment and became landlords.  Instead of doing it themselves or hiring a property management company they entrusted the process to me.  With no knowledge of property management I learned on the job. After doing well with their property additional family members and friends seeked out my help for their properties also.  After providing these services gratis for many years I decided to look into opening a property management company.

In 2013, we opened as Paramont Star Realty and provided property management services for single family homes, multi-family units and associations.   Being actively engaged in the community though and having been featured in the Washington Express Paper in addition to being included on the homepage of the DC Department of Housing and Community Development as "Featured Homebuyer" and within the annual report of the DC Housing Finance Agency I was frequently asked tips on how to go from having the dream of home ownership to it being a reality.  I began to informally teach others how to improve their credit and gave sage advice on money management. This still was not enough for some of the people I encountered...they wanted me to actually help them find and purchase a home. I was flattered and humbled but it opened my eyes to the need for me to become a licensed real estate agent. Since holding a real estate license was complementary and beneficial to the property management company I enrolled at Long & Foster Institute and upon successful completion of course work acquired my DC license in August, VA license in September and MD license in October of 2014.  I affiliated my licenses with Long & Foster Real Estate Inc.'s Capitol Hill office however after the departure of it's branch manager I decided to consider other brokers and afilliated with Douglas Realty, LLC. Additionally, I subscribe to the ethical standards and maintain professional membership with the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS®, Maryland Association of REALTORS®) (formerly held membership with the District of Columbia Association of REALTORS® 2014-2015) and the National Association of REALTORS®.


As a relatively new real estate agent I made it my priority to actively learn the fundamentals of the practice by taking classes on how to serve as a seller and buyer's agent, best ways to list and sell a home quickly, fundamentals of shortsales and foreclosures and working with multi-cultural clients etc.

After working with a variety of clients I realized to ensure I was knowledgeable enough to assist ALL of my clients in achieving stress-free and seamless moves even more training was needed outside of what I already completed.  I decided the best way to achieve this was via national certifications. To date I haved taken the Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), and Accredited Buyers Representative courses. After passing the course exam and/or applicable sales requirements I duly earned the right to be known as an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) and to use the corresponding designation behind my name.   

All of this coupled with my personal knowledge of loan programs and navigating the buying process has made me a true asset to those I have served.

I spearheaded the formation of the property management company and it's expansion into real estate sales however I work with a team of individuals from beginning to end to provide exceptional service to ensure all client needs are met and they successfully reach their goal whether it is to be a homeowner or to earn high dividends from their property.

  • Through testimony and advocacy to City Council assisted Ivy City in acquiring $1 million for streetscaping and beautification, including tree boxes, lighting, sidewalk construction and repair, and tree plantings 2014

  • Through testimony and advocacy to City Council assisted Ivy City in acquiring an additional $100,000 in Fiscal Year 2015 and $100,000 in Fiscal Year 2016 for a designated Clean Team.

  • Through testimony and advocacy to City Council acquired funding to stabilize historic Crummell School in Ivy City – $1.925 million for stabilization in Fiscal Year 2015 and $7 million for design and construction in Fiscal Year 2016.

  • Brokered 26 Affordable Dwelling Units (ADU) – Highline at Union Market  – Washington, DC 2015

  • Through advocacy work Ivy City is named by the Washington Post as "What's in for 2016" and was featured on FOX 5.
